Municipalities are responsible for reducing of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in their buildings. Since the Canadian Net Zero Emission Accountability Act came into law in 2021, setting and achieving net zero targets is mandatory. LAS is offering a Net Zero and Low Carbon Initiatives workshop designed to help you create and meet your net zero and climate emergency declaration goals. This one-day workshop will empower attendees with practical steps to achieve your net zero goals in municipal buildings. The main objective is to help municipalities understand the concept of net zero, low carbon initiatives and their economic and environmental relevance to the sector. What’s more, the workshop is very affordable thanks to the IESO’s Training incentive, providing attendees with a 75% IESO workshop fee rebate upon completion. This workshop also qualifies for CEU credits and a 90-day trial license for RETScreen.
